MEMBERS ENJOYED THE DAY TRIP IN JUNE TO

THE OLD RECTORIES AT QUINTON & SUDBOROUGH

The two gardens that members viewed on this trip were very different, each very stunning in their individual way. The Old Rectory at Sudborough has a classic English Country garden with modern planting. Demanding conditions from severe frosts to high temperatures and flooding all the way  up to the Pseudo Acacia, planted in 1823,  which is shown in the foreground of the photograph.

The Old Rectory at Quinton has a relatively new garden, redesigned and recreated between 2014 and 2015. The main garden in the back of the house has been divided into the six parts of an 18th century 'perfect' garden
